Kaziranga Sunderbans Tour
Destination : Delhi - Guwahati - Kaziranga - Bagdogra - Kalimpong - Siliguri - Kolkatta – Sunderbans
Duration : 13 Nights / 14 Days
Day 01: Delhi
Arrive Delhi till midnight and spend overnight in the Hotel.
Day 2: Delhi
Spend your morning in leisure. In the afternoon go for sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Places like India Gate, driving past President House, and visiting the Qutab Minar & Humayun's tomb. Spend Overnight in Hotel.
Day 3: Delhi
Spend the morning in sightseeing of Old Delhi. Visit the places Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat etc. Enjoy your lunch and then spend shopping and sightseeing. Spend overnight in Hotel.
Day 4: Delhi - Guwahati - Kaziranga National Park
In the morning take an onward flight from Delhi to Guwahati and proceed to Kaziranga National Park which is a 4 hours run from Guwahati. In the evening enjoy the dinner along with tribal Bihu dance beside the log fire under bamboo grove. Spend Overnight at the resort.
Day 5: Kaziranga National Park
View the wildlife and nature in the park. Visit to the tribal village in the afternoon and see silk worm rearing. Have dinner and enjoy overnight stay at the resort.
Day 6: Kaziranga National Park
Visit to Kaziranga National Park on elephant back early in the morning. Later in the afternoon visit the tea garden and tea factory. Enjoy the dinner in tea garden bungalow. Spend overnight in the resort.
Day 7: Kaziranga -Guwahati - Bagdogra – Kalimpong
Drive back to Guwahati and get a flight to Bagdogra in the afternoon. After reaching Bagdogra drive to Kalimpong. Have Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8: Kalimpong
Spend morning at Leisure. In the afternoon get a guided tour of Kalimpong. Spend night in the Hotel.
Day 9: Kalimpong - Siliguri – Kolkatta
Enjoy early morning rafting on river Teesta and then drive down towards Siliguri. Catch the connecting overnight train to Kolkata. Overnight in train.
Day 10: Kolkatta
After arriving Kolkata moveto the Hotel. Enjoy a full day sightseeing tour of the city of Kolkata. Spend night in Hotel.
Day 11: Kolkatta - Sunderbans National Park
Depart from KolKata to Basanti Port which is (3½ hr) for Sundarbans. Enjoy a cruise to Sajnekhali by a motorised launch at Sunderbans (2½ hr). Spend night in the launch and enjoy your dinner and stay on the boat.
Day 12: Sunderbans National Park
A full day cruise through mangrove creeks for wildlife viewing & bird watching at the Sunderbans. Have lunch on the boat. Anchor at Sajnekhali by sunset to have the view. One can opt for watching a slideshow on wildlife at the Mangrove Interpretation Centre in the evening with tea & snacks. After dinner night stay on the boat.
Day 13: Sunderbans National Park – Kolkatta
In the morning take a cycle rickshaw to pay a visit to Rangabeloa Tagore Society to see rural development project. Return back to Basanti Port by the afternoon. Moveto Kolkata by car. Spend overnight in a Hotel.
Day 14: Kolkatta - Delhi / Onward Destination
In the morning take the flight from Kolkata to Delhi. Spend a day at leisure in Delhi. Move to the airport to catch the connecting flight to onward destination.
