Our carefully tailored 11 day tours take in the very best mountain biking in Kerala. Set against spectacular backdrops, your journey also includes plenty of opportunities to soak up the surroundings. World Class mountain biking amidst some of the world's highest tea estates. Exploring historical Fort Cochin. Relaxing on the deck of a houseboat on the world-renowned Kerala backwaters (with Kerala Cycling Tourovernight stay included). Observing the wildlife from a boat in South India's premiere wildlife sanctuary, Periyar. Resting on the shores of the Arabian sea at stunning Varkala beach.
 

DAY 1 Arrive Cochin Airport morning.

Transfer to mountains and hotel in Kuttikanam. Bike set up, afternoon ride, first taste of Keralan singletrack.

DAY 2 Kuttikanam – 30 km+ cross country run to Vagamon loads of singletrack

cliff edge ride, test your rock riding skills on the solid granite at the extraordinary setting of the tomb of Kolal Halamed. Finish with massive 1000m downhill.

DAY 3 Kuttikanam – Best of the singletrack in Kuttikanam

stunning scenery and amazing viewpoints. Afternoon visit and guided tour of the Maharaja of Travancore's former summer retreat the original WoodPalace.

DAY 4 Kuttikanam – World's end to Wembley

Loads of singletrack, amazing valley views from World's end, and a mammoth downhill through cardamom, rubber and pineapple plantations to the incongruously named village of Wembley, named after the once erstwhile resident English vicar the right Reverend Wembley. Visit to buffalo market.

DAY 5 :

Kuttikanam to Periyar 40 km cross country run via Eagle Rock and Vandiperiyar takes us to Thekkaddy and India's premier wildlife sanctuary Periyar. Afternoon spice garden visit. Overnight stay Periyar.

DAY 6 :

Boat trip through Periyar National park in search of Elephants and Tiger’s. Fascinating spice plantation visit with our expert guide; taste the world's best pepper. Transfer to Munnar in time for short evening ride amongst the highest tea estates in the world.

DAY 7 Munnar – Elephant run.

Bring your climbing legs with this cross country run taking in some of the most scenic valleys around Munnar through the heartlands of the wild elephants.

DAY 8 Munnar - Bumps circuit,

outlandish scenery and oodles of single track with two fantastic downhills. Afternoon visit to tea museum.

DAY 9 Munnar – The downhill

. One of the best descents in the area follows the old pioneer path first used in the 1870’s by the British tea planters in their search for new lands for cultivation. A super technical downhill trail drops over 2000 meters in height from the hamlet of Top Station to Body.

DAY 10 Morning transfer to Cochin.

Afternoon to relax and explore Cochin's wealth of historical buildings, spice bazaars restaurants and bars.

DAY 11 Transfer to Cochin airport for return flight home.
