India has many beautiful places that make for an unforgettable travel experience. Unfortunately, even though there are several areas that are considered critical for protecting and conserving, there are not enough funds available for doing this effectively. Donating a good percentage of the proceeds from the ‘travel packages’ allows us to support important conservation projects in the country that the tourists are visiting (and whose resources they are using and enjoying). We also hope that experiencing the beauty and fragility of these places will inspire people to do their bit for preserving them.India, hosts significant biodiversity; India's forest cover ranges from the tropical rainforest of the Andaman Islands, Western Ghats, and Northeast India to the coniferous forest of the Himalaya. Between these extremes lie the sal-dominated moist deciduous forest of eastern India; teak-dominated dry deciduous forest of central and southern India; and the babul-dominated thorn forest of the central Deccan and western Gangetic plain.
